We have spent the last week and a half in Meru visiting family. We visited with Dan and Kinoti (our cousins) and many grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
At our grandma and grandpa Tirima's house we love to feed and visit the cows and calves. They have four calves whom we have named Spot, Fred, Betty and Jack. They also have five cows and we have milked two of them...that was a lot of fun!
We visited our cousins' (Dan & Kinoti) school --- Consolata Primay School, Meru for their Fun Day which involved all kinds of races. Our mom went to Consolata when she was young. The old monkey bars that she played on were still standing!!
Yesterday (June 22nd) we went to Meru town to get our nails done. We were very happy with the results. Our nails look fabulous!!!
Today (June 23rd) we visited some grandparents (our dad's aunt & uncle---M'Itwamwari) and played with cute little puppies. One of them had two broken legs that we tried to wrap up. The puppy seemed to like it and we think he felt much better. Later in the day, we went to visit with other grandparents (Marangus) and they had cows, goats, sheep and chickens. One of the chickens had cute little chicks but we could not pick them up and risk being attacked by the mother!
We will post some pictures soon...
